FAQ

1) Who is Rebecca Davison?

I am a 40 year old mother of one who has been a certified personal trainer for over 6 years. I trained myself throughout my pregnancy using my own training program, and I have trained many pregnant women through a safe and wonderful pregnancy. I hold 6 Certifications including two specifically for pregnant women.

2) Can you exercise during pregnancy?

Yes, but only with your health care provider’s consent. My program is designed with you, the pregnant woman in mind and is made to be safe for you and your baby as long as your OB/GYN approves.

3) Can you work your abs during pregnancy?

There are many abdominal exercises in my program that you can and should do during pregnancy. They can help you keep your abs strong and may even help you in child birth.

4) Can you do resistance or strength training during pregnancy?

All of the exercises and workouts in my program were made to be safe for you and your baby during pregnancy. However I also require that you monitor your intensity very carefully with a heart rate monitor. You also need to be very careful not to drop a weight of any sort on your belly.

5) How much weight can you lift?

This depends on how much you lifted before pregnancy. If you are an advanced exerciser you can lift what you lifted before unless it doesn’t feel right. If you are an intermediate exerciser drop each weight you lifted before by 5 to 10%. If you are a beginner exerciser you should start at the lightest weight and work your way up until you have a slight resistance for each exercise.

6) How long does a workout take?

Each workout should take approximately 45 minutes to an hour including warm-up and cool-down.

7) Can you do these workouts at home?

Yes! My program gives you exercises you can do at the gym or at home!

8) What will you need to do the workouts at home?

- What you will need:
  1. Dumbells
  2. Stability Ball – 45 to 55 cm
  3. Step – you can use an aerobics bench or a step you already have at home
